Zuzana Žabková

(1987, Košice)

An artist, dancer and choreographer who explores dance as a philosophical apparatus and intimate practice, studies interpretive methods in magic and therapy and creates somatic fictions and collective game structures, which she perceives as a laboratory for training new forms of social relations. She looks for failed utopias and likes to move like a reptile. She works alone and with friends, with whom she reevaluates the ways of valuing work and care. She is the co-founder of the Björnsonova platform (www.bjornsonova.com), fictional characters, communities and dance multiforms with roots and connections that transcend time, space and art forms. She lives and works in Prague and Frankfurt am Main.
